I love living in Bend, Oregon and capturing it's majesty on camera. It's so beautiful here and boasts around 300 days of sun every year. Bend is small town living with big city ideas. I've lived many places in the U.S. and there really is no place like it.
Exploring is something you have to do here, whether you're a tourist or a full-time resident. It really is fun to find a new spot to take your breath away. Many of the photos you'll find on this site are from my adventures with my wife Carol. So if you see us out on the trail say hi!
I love technology and media design news. It amazes me how fast we're inventing and building things to enhance our lives. I find my info from across the web and by watching technology documentaries. I did say I was a geek, didn't I?
I'm a big fan of taking things apart and putting them back together again. That enjoyment has accidentally taught me so much about the web, computer hardware technology, social media, mobile devices, and science in general. So what have you learned today?
Teaching people how to get the most out of the technology and the media they create makes me happy. Just to know that I've helped them become more efficient or taught them how to enjoy their technology by sharing the media they create is satisfying.
Don't misunderstand me, I by far don't know it all... because technology and media change faster than anyone could possibly keep up with.
